John and I loved the evening at the town hall, it is a fabulous venue plenty of room to dance and of course your wonderful music.

My wife and I attended your Black & White ball at Eastbourne on Saturday, we thoroughly enjoyed the event, the venue was really good and the best dancing music we have ever danced to in our 30 years of dancing.

I just wanted to write and express sincere thanks for such a gorgeous
evening at the corn exchange. The atmosphere and music was wonderful and
the British no 2 ballroom champions were amazing.

The Abbey Sands evening albeit now a distant memory was a lovely evening and
thank you for giving us the opportunity once again to join the dancing.

A really great time at last Saturdays Ball.. Thank you so much. No negatives at all. Away in May but we will be back to your dance at The Corn Exchange in June.

We both thoroughly enjoyed the evening. As always the music was great and that makes such a difference. One aspect that we thought was particularly good was playing two in a row of the popular dances such as the waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, tango and rumba. That really helps people to pace themselves and to create more space on the floor. On that large floor, just one tune is fine for most people so the floor is shared and it also helps the ballroom / sequence balance.
We also liked having two sambas and would even suggest the idea of a Viennese waltz and paso doble in each half.

What a great first dance, we liked that there was no faffing about and the music was great and very varied, the host was good and all staff friendly. The lights were ok, just one thing missing the glitter ball!! As long as all future dances remain this way, we will be happy to pay the extra price for the chance to get to dance at a superb venue.  The most important thing at a dance is the music and the continuous flow. We look forward to the year ahead, many thanks for deciding to hold dances at the Corn Exchange.

The venue was great with plenty of room to dance. Having attended the previously arranged dances it was nice to see the floor clear of tables and chair on the alcove side. This gave more room for the dancing. The only drawback in the alcove is that people could not see and had to move their chairs into a line at the front of the alcove

Was the evening well organised from admission to the event itself? Yes

Having not enjoyed previous dances at the Corn Exchange your dance was a breath of fresh air. The format and choice of music was excellent. There were a couple of comments near us about the Waltz’s being a bit slow but having danced with you for years now it was okay for us.

It was nice to see dancers again from 3 years ago and it will be interesting to see how many return for the Valentine’s ball. I have since seen other dancers who were not there on the night and had been at the Corn exchange previously and said what a great night it was.

Just wanted to say how nice it is to be dancing again at The Corn Exchange. A fabulous venue with a very large large dancefloor catering for all abilities.

We had danced here many times when run as Jims Candelight dances. It is great to see the centre staff remain as friendly and helpful as ever.

The evening was hosted beautifully and everything ran smoothly. The music was very good with Peter Tebby presenting.

We’ll definitely be attending future Big Dance Events and are already recommending to friends and those who have not heard about it.

On the whole , very good . Lovely big dance floor , plenty of space to move . Bar staff , very friendly and proficient . Good atmosphere , we found we knew a lot of the other dancers , some by name , some only by sight , but it made for a friendly environment.
